Today was fabulous day as the team was introduced to the children of Excellent Academy. Everyone is working hard enjoying the beautiful blue skies, mild temperatures, and almost non-existent mosquito population. Did I mention we ran over a cobra yesterday?!! Loving Africa!!
The team arrived in Tharaka tired but exhilarated by finally seeing Kenya and the beautiful starry sky! We are grateful to God for His protection and refreshment. Tomorrow is our first full day of work. Pray for God’s continued favor on our team!!
We arrived safely in Kenya after a 5 hour delay in Brussels. All our luggage is safe, intact and without any additional charges. Preparing to eat breakfast and head out to Tharaka. Thank you for your prayers! We feel them!
Please pray for rain in Tharaka! Our well has run dry and we are in need of water. We use the well for our construction needs and work is made very difficult as we now have to pump water from the Thanadu River.
