Have you ever had a desire to go on a missions trip? Well now is your chance! Team Kenya 2018 is looking for passionate people who love adventure to serve alongside us in Kenya on July 15-30. This exciting trip will be filled with opportunities to serve in our school by hosting sports and enrichment camps. You’ll also have the opportunity to complete construction and maintenance projects and help host our 6th Excellent Academy 5K race! You never know, the next world class Kenyan runner may come from Each1 Feed1!
The cost of the sixteen day trip is $3,400 per person. This includes your airfare, accommodations, meals and much more! We can give you ideas on how to successfully fundraise and answer any questions you might have regarding immunizations, accommodations, etc. Your first step is to complete a missions trip application by emailing Stacey at info@eachonefeedone.org and she can get one to you.
Sponsors needed! We are also looking for sponsors for our 5K race, and sports/art camps. $2,000 will cover the cost of race t-shirts, Gatorade, medals and prizes at the 5K race. $1,000 will pay for our art supplies, soccer balls and volleyballs. $3,000 will cover the cost of a new incinerator to burn medical waste at our clinic. Family update: As most of you know, Kyle and I in a waiting period in regards to our move to Kenya. After numerous delays we are learning what the word “wait” really means. I was greatly encouraged after reading these words from Joyce Meyer, “In the season of waiting in your life, God builds your strength, strengthens your resolve and equips you to receive more from Him than you ever thought possible.” Please pray for us to be strengthened during the wait! Hopefully, we will have more information to give you regarding our move in my next e-newsletter.
