About Us
In 1965 while stationed in Vietnam, Chaplain Calvin McCarter had a defining moment after witnessing the hopelessness of children plagued with leprosy. As a response to their plight, he and his wife, Linda, (fondly known as Mama Linda) founded Each1 Feed1, International. Since then, Each1 Feed1 has been committed to finding creative answers for physical, mental, and spiritual hunger. After years of ministering throughout the world, God directed them to focus on two countries, Kenya and India.
Each1 Feed1 facilitates several life-changing opportunities for those who would like to volunteer on a team to help with the ongoing work of Each1 Feed1. If you are interested in serving on a short term project, fill out the Each1 Feed 1 Volunteer Mission Application and a member of our team will contact you shortly.
Get involved in the construction of a Each1 Feed1 home, classroom, or other structure on our campus. Opportunities also exist to participate in the development of the infrastructure attached to these and other projects (ie. painting, landscaping, general maintenance of the building works) rather than construction.
These teams participate in helping to meet the medical needs of those in the Tharaka community, provide health education and training of the staff and community, and facilitate outreach clinics to the wider communities surrounding Each1 Feed1.
If your gifting is to minister to the hearts of those who are less fortunate through discipleship, kid’s programs, or worship arts, we would love to work with you.
If you’re an education professional, we have opportunities for you to work with our teachers and students. These teams help train our teachers in new teaching methods. We have opportunities to host soccer, track, cross country, and other sports camps.
